Joint venture of TAV Construction and Ballast Nedam, a Rönesans Holding group company, won the tender to build the new terminal in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport of Royal Schiphol Group. The project involves the building of both a new pier and the expansion of aircraft stands. The terminal building sprawls over a 53 thousand square meter area in three stories including 5 narrow body aircraft capacity on one side, and 3 wide body (6 narrow body) aircraft capacity on the other side.
The total apron area includes 8 gates and a 57 thousand square meter wide sidewalk.
Biomaterials, insulated glass, recyclable plastic and unprocessed marble will be used in the construction of the new terminal building of Schiphol Airport. It will also have a solar panel of 5.000 square meters and rainwater will be used for cleaning the area.
Atatürk Cultural Center, designed by Tabanlıoğlu Architecture and having a total construction area of 95,600 square meters, is considered as two sections. In the first part; in the location of the old AKM, the Opera Stage, which can be seen from Taksim Square through its outer shell-roof, a red sphere resembling a red colored sphere, and the building's transparent façade, in the second part; in the area extending up to the old parking lot; There are theater halls, exhibition halls, rehearsal rooms, meeting rooms, foyers, ticket sales offices, cafe-restaurants.
