Doors are manufactured from a combination of steel plate and hollow steel profile. Capable of being tailored to meet wide range of Blast levels and other performance criteria inculding Ballistic, Forced Entry and Fire Resistance

Bullet resistant doors are often used in government buildings, cashier stands, high crime rate areas or any structure where increased safety is desired. Generally tested in accordance with UL 752 and assigned a level from 1-10 that lets you know how resistant the door is to gun fire. Steel doors are typically available up to level 8. The doors may be flush or have full glass vision lights. They are also available in pairs, fire rated, STC rated and blast resistant. Cores can be steel stiffened, honeycomb, and polystyrene.

Doors are tested as a complete assembly; door, frame & seal, depending on required pressure, location and seal type according to ASTM E 330,ASTM E 331 and ASTM E331 and ASTM E283, tested for positive pressure & negative pressure.

Our door and frame assemblies can be tested to achieve specific requirements of air tightness, water infiltration or gas tightness.
